This Listing & Content Control Policy establishes the rules, standards, and enforcement framework governing all Seller Content published on the MARKETLine360 marketplace.

Table of Contents
Purpose
This Listing & Content Control Policy forms an integral part of the Seller Agreement and is incorporated therein by reference.
Its purpose is to:
- ensure compliance with applicable laws and marketplace standards;
- protect Buyers from misleading, unsafe, or unlawful listings;
- protect MARKETLine360 from regulatory, financial, and reputational risk;
- maintain marketplace integrity, transparency, and quality standards.
This Policy does not limit any rights available to MARKETLine360 under the Seller Agreement, Terms of Use, or applicable law.
Scope
This Policy applies to all content submitted, uploaded, displayed, or otherwise made available by Sellers, including but not limited to:
- product titles
- descriptions
- images and videos
- pricing and discount representations
- specifications and claims
- certifications and safety statements
- shipping representations
- store policies
- promotional materials
- metadata, keywords, and tags
All such materials are collectively referred to as “Seller Content.”
Seller Responsibility
Sellers remain solely and fully responsible at all times for:
- the accuracy and completeness of listings;
- compliance with consumer protection laws;
- compliance with product safety regulations;
- intellectual property compliance;
- truthful advertising and marketing claims;
- lawful cross-border representations;
- proper product categorization.
Review, publication, or technical availability of any listing by MARKETLine360 does not constitute approval, certification, endorsement, legal validation, or assumption of liability.
Seller remains solely responsible regardless of whether the listing has been reviewed, edited, or approved by the Platform.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Seller Content must comply with:
- Canadian federal and provincial consumer protection laws;
- U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws (where applicable);
- advertising and marketing standards;
- product safety and labeling requirements;
- intellectual property laws;
- import/export regulations;
- marketplace tax compliance requirements.
False claims, deceptive marketing, hidden conditions, material omissions, or misleading representations are strictly prohibited.
Content Accuracy & Transparency Standards
Listings must:
- clearly describe the product being sold;
- accurately disclose product condition (new, refurbished, used, etc.);
- disclose material limitations, compatibility restrictions, or risks;
- avoid exaggerated, unverifiable, or unsupported claims;
- not misrepresent origin, brand, certification, or approval;
- not imply endorsement, certification, or affiliation by MARKETLine360.
Comparative, performance, safety, or certification claims must be substantiated where required by law.
Prohibited Content
The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited:
- counterfeit, replica, or infringing products;
- unauthorized use of trademarks, copyrighted materials, brand assets, or intellectual property;
- manipulated, misleading, altered, or unrelated stock images;
- false or deceptive pricing practices (including fake discounts, inflated reference prices, artificial MSRP claims);
- unsubstantiated medical, therapeutic, health, or performance claims;
- deceptive urgency or artificial scarcity tactics;
- inaccurate, unrealistic, or misleading shipping or delivery timelines;
- prohibited or restricted goods under Marketplace Policies.
Food & Consumable Products
The Platform does not permit the listing or sale of:
- food products;
- beverages;
- perishable goods;
- dietary supplements;
- edible or ingestible items;
- any consumable goods intended for human or animal consumption;
unless expressly authorized in writing by MARKETLine360.
MARKETLine360 is not licensed to distribute, warehouse, or facilitate the sale of regulated food or consumable goods.
Unauthorized listing of such products may result in immediate removal, account restriction, suspension, or termination.
Listing Review Process
MARKETLine360 may, at its sole discretion:
- review listings prior to publication;
- conduct post-publication audits;
- require modification of content;
- temporarily restrict listing visibility;
- remove non-compliant listings;
- request supporting documentation (certifications, invoices, proof of authenticity, safety documentation).
Sellers must respond to correction requests within the timeframe specified in the notification.
Failure to respond may result in enforcement action.
Documentation Requests
MARKETLine360 may request documentation including, but not limited to:
- proof of authenticity;
- supplier invoices;
- safety certifications;
- compliance declarations;
- regulatory approvals;
- import/export documentation;
- insurance certificates (for high-risk categories).
Failure to provide documentation within the requested timeframe may result in listing removal, account restrictions, payout holds, or suspension.
Enforcement Framework
Violations of this Policy may result in:
- listing edits or mandatory corrections;
- listing removal;
- warning notifications;
- temporary listing restrictions;
- reduced marketplace visibility;
- payout holds or rolling reserves;
- account suspension;
- permanent termination.
Repeated, material, fraudulent, or high-risk violations may trigger immediate enforcement without prior notice where necessary to protect Buyers, comply with law, or mitigate platform risk.
Performance enforcement measures described in the Seller Agreement may also be triggered by violations of this Policy.
Intellectual Property Complaints
Upon receipt of intellectual property claims:
- listings may be removed without prior notice;
- Sellers may be required to provide proof of authorization;
- repeat infringement may result in suspension or termination.
MARKETLine360 reserves the right to comply with takedown or removal requests under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Advertising & Promotional Claims
Sellers must ensure that:
- discounts are genuine and transparent;
- price comparisons are lawful and substantiated;
- promotional language is not misleading;
- shipping claims align with the Shipping Policy;
- return-related representations align with the Buyer Return Policy;
- Seller-specific terms do not contradict Marketplace Policies.
High-Risk Categories
Additional scrutiny, documentation, or compliance requirements may apply to:
- electronics;
- batteries and power devices;
- children’s products;
- hazardous materials;
- regulated goods;
- safety-sensitive products.
MARKETLine360 may impose enhanced verification, compliance documentation, or category-specific restrictions where necessary.
No Assumption of Liability
Nothing in this Policy:
- makes MARKETLine360 the seller of record;
- transfers product liability to the Platform;
- creates certification, endorsement, or warranty of Seller products;
- limits rights available to MARKETLine360 under the Seller Agreement.
Seller remains fully responsible for product legality, safety, compliance, and listing accuracy.
Policy Updates
MARKETLine360 reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time to reflect:
- changes in law;
- regulatory developments;
- marketplace risk assessments;
- operational requirements.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updates.
